As 2022 draws to a close, we would like to highlight certain achievements and express our gratitude for your support and cooperation.

The year 2022 was another difficult one for the entire world. Poverty rates are rising, and it is obvious that climate change is having increasingly catastrophic effects. We are seeing the systemic nature of risk and the cascading effects of shocks and stresses all over the world, from the ongoing COVID-19 global impact to the deadly floods in Pakistan, the drought, and hunger in the Horn of Africa, to the deadly heatwaves in Europe, the flash floods in Brazil, Hurricane Julia, and the global effects of Russia’s conflict in Ukraine.

We would like to take a minute to pause, reflect on our accomplishments, and be proud of all we have accomplished together this year without ignoring the problems and cascading danger that we still face as a global community.

Finally, we’d want to use this chance to express our gratitude to every one of our members for their support of our initiatives and to our supporters for their ongoing generosity.
